A good introduction on the labour market. The PPT has key theory on the difference between the goods and the factor markets, the supply and demand of the labour market and the different factors that influence the supply of the labour market. I have included key supply and demand diagrams linked to the labour market. I have included numerous examples and key words to help make the theory easy to understand and accessible to students.
I have included a nice lesson starter game, where students need to guess which whether the wage of the next job is higher or lower than the previous job displayed on screen. This starter activity can help start a group discussion on why some jobs are paid more / less than others. I have also included a nice worksheet on the labour market to help students consolidate their learning. Perfect for GCSE Economics and Business Studies and the resources could also be used for A-Level.

A nice lesson on the typical aims and objectives of businesses and companies. The lesson looks at the difference between a business aim and a business objective with relevant examples. The lesson also looks at mission statements and key examples of aims and objectives of both small and large businesses. There are numerous tasks throughout the PPT which link in well to the key theory. The lesson includes a brief description of a small businesses main aims; profit, provide a good service, survival and growth. Tasks include a nice traffic light quiz where students need to guess which businesses aim is being shown on the board. I have also included a nice 10 question multiple choice quiz that focuses on aims and enterprise. Perfect for GCSE Business Studies.
A bumper lesson covering the key theory on demand curves. The PPT looks at the various determinants of demand and includes relevant examples and diagrams. There a numerous tasks throughout. I have also included a nice 10 multiple choice quiz covering demand curves. I have also included a supply and demand curves scenario task, which I print 6 slide horizontal and get students to fill in the shift in either the supply and demand curve using the given scenario. Really good lesson for teaching demand. Perfect for GCSE Economics and can be used to for AS Level.
This lesson looks at how to properly tackle exam style questions for AQA GCSE Business Studies. The lesson looks at the four key skills needed in the exam; knowledge, application, analysis and evaluation. The lesson is based around an exam case study from Unit 1: Setting Up a New Business. The lesson gets students to complete a SWOT analysis for the case study, highlight key information and answer questions based around the case study. The lesson concludes by looking at a really great structure for answering 9 mark questions.
The lesson includes a fun starter quiz that covers a number of topics from the syllabus. I have also included a well laid out and professional worksheet that is used in conjunction with the PPT. This lesson is aimed at AQA GCSE Business Studies, but it could easily be adapted for other exam boards and may also be useful for A-Level Business Studies.

A great lesson that covers the recruitment section of People in Business. The lesson looks at teaching recruitment and how to answer a 9 mark exam question. The lesson is split into four sections; knowledge, application, analysis and evaluation. Each section builds up to answering a 9 mark exam question.

A great lesson that teaches prices elasticity of demand (PED). The lesson includes all the key theory behind the concept of elasticity, the difference between elastic and inelastic goods and how to calculate price elasticity of demand.
The lesson also looks at elastic and inelastic demand curves. There are many tasks throughout the lesson including a product list task, guess the demand curve task and many tasks on calculating the price elasticity of demand - starting with a simple table tick task, leading up to deep calculations using the PED formula.
